The Clubhouse

Our traditional, well-appointed clubhouse has a welcoming bar and dining room, together with excellent changing facilities. The bar and catering service opens at 11.00am and closes at 10.00pm in the summer (and at dusk in spring and autumn). It is helpful if any catering needs can be indicated prior to play.

Handicaps

The Irvine Golf Club is considered to be a very challenging course and to enjoy the game to the fullest, players should be reasonably competent golfers. Handicap certificates should be available to be produced, if requested.

Speed of Play

Members of The Irvine Golf Club normally complete a round in less than four hours and visitors are expected to do the same. If you find that you are losing ground on the game in front then you would be expected to invite them to play through.

Etiquette

Please be ready to tee off at your allotted time. Please respect the condition of the course by replacing divots, raking bunkers and properly repairing pitch marks on the greens.

Practice Facilities

The Irvine Golf Club have some excellent practice facilities on offer to members, guests and visitors.

We have a large putting and chipping green outside of the clubhouse.  There are warm up driving nets at the rear of the putting green to

We also have a 250 yard practice range and short game area, a short walk from the clubhouse.  Please note that you must supply your own balls when using this area.

Locker Room

Comfortable gents and lady’s locker rooms are equipped with individual lockers for storage of personal belongings and clothing. Shower, washroom, and toilet facilities are available in both locker rooms.
