Welcome to the Irvine Golf Club

The clubhouse was built in 1906 at the cost of £15,000 with developments made over the early years. It was designed to incorporate comfort, efficiency and an understated interior elegance that serves as a salute to the history and traditions of the game. Upholding these traditions, the clubhouse is maintained to preserve the traditional Golf Club look and ambiance in the Bar, Lounge, Dining Room, Locker Room, and Professional shop.

With Western exposure the bar, Lounge and Dining room offer panoramic views over the putting green and golf course. An outdoor seating area offers views of the first tee and 18th green.

Bar and Restaurant

The Clubhouse offers a varied range of dining options, with friendly local staff. The Club’s catering facilities are available to you throughout the year with bar facilities available from 11.00 am to dusk midweek with extended hours at weekends and the restaurant normally open from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm or later by prior arrangement. If you wish an evening meal, this must be booked in advance.

The Bartonholm Lounge offers visitors the opportunity to relax and unwind before or after their round of golf. Golf attire is perfectly acceptable in this area and the menu offers traditional golf club fare.

Breakfast rolls are available in the Clubhouse from 10am.

Dining and Functions

The Racecourse Lounge presents visitors with a traditional Golf Club dining experience with a comprehensive a-la-carte menu. Smart casual and golf attire is acceptable in the Lounge.

Locker Room

Comfortable gents and lady’s locker rooms are equipped with individual lockers for storage of personal belongings and clothing. Shower, washroom, and toilet facilities are available in both locker rooms.
